device reaches an air quantity of 300 l/min
at 350 °C.
Change the step switch (3) to level "II". The
device reaches an air quantity of 500 l/min
at 550 °C.
Change the step switch to level “0” to
switch it off.
Use as a floor-mounted
appliance
You can use the device as a floor-mounted
appliance. For this purpose, place the de-
vice on the two bases (12).
Ensure stability and safety and a heat-
resistant surface.
The position as a floor-mounted appli
-
ance is also ideally suited to allowing
the device to cool down after use.
Assembling the paint
scraper
1. Unscrew the top nut (13) from the
handle (6).
2. Place the metal triangle (5) onto the
lower nut.
3. Screw the top nut back on in order to
tighten the metal triangle.
Use of adapter nozzles
Before exchanging adapter nozzles,
the adapter nozzle (8/9/10/11)
and blow-off pipe (4) must be suffi
-
ciently cooled down to avoid burns.
Various uses are possible. Always
comply with the safety instructions
and always handle the device with
care and caution.
Restrictor
Place the restrictor (11) on the blow-off
pipe (4).
Use the restrictor (11) to obtain selective
heat.
When using the restrictor (11),
pay particular attention to the heat
development at the cutting point. If
in doubt, do not stay in the same
place for too long in order to avoid
overheating the workpiece.
Surface nozzle
Place the surface nozzle (9) on the blow-off
pipe (4).
Use the surface nozzle (9) to obtain heat
over a large surface.
When using the surface nozzle (9),
pay particular attention to the heat
development in adjacent locations
of the cutting point. So that in cases
of doubt, no adjacent component is
overheated.
Spatula nozzle
Place the spatula nozzle (10) on the blow-
off pipe (4).
The spatula form of the nozzle serves the
purpose of the targeted hot air supply to
paint and lacquer surfaces. The paints and
lacquers can be removed with the paint
scraper (7). The spatula (10) itself is not
suitable for removing paint.
