Changing rotary direction

Push through the rotary direction switch 5 to set the rotary direction
(see Fig. C):

Safety lock
Set the rotation direction switch 5 to the middle position so that it
protrudes equally on both sides. The switch trigger 10 cannot be pressed
in this setting.
Changing bits

Pull out the bit 12. Insert another type of bit into the bit holder 1
(see Fig. D).
NOTE:
Screw bits are labelled according to their dimensions and
their shape. If you are unsure, always try the particular screw bit out
to see whether it sits in the screw head without any free play.
