Charge the battery
in a dry room only.
Prior to attaching
the charger, check that the
battery‘s outer surface is
clean and dry.
There is a risk of injury
due to electric shock.
Switch off the device
and remove the battery
before carrying out any mainte

nance work.
The rechargeable batte-
ry only reaches its full
capacity once it has been char

ged several times.
• Charge the battery before
using it for the first time.
• Only use chargers from the
(Parkside) X 12 V Team se

ries to recharge the battery.
• If the operating time is con

siderably shortened despite
charging, this shows that
the rechargeable battery
is depleted and must be
replaced. Only use an ori
-
ginal replacement battery
from the (Parkside) X 12 V
Team series, which can be
purchased from the online
shop (see the “Spare parts”
section).
• Always comply with the
latest safety information, as
well as the regulations and
information relating to envi-
ronmental protection.
• Defects resulting from im-
proper handling are not
covered by the guarantee.
Inserting/removing the
battery
1. To remove the battery (1)
from the device, press both
release buttons (2) on the bat-
tery and pull the battery out.
2. To insert the battery (1), push
the battery along the guide
rail into the device. You will
hear it click into place.
Only insert the re-
chargeable battery
once the battery-operated
tool is ready for use.
