Fitting the sliding shoe
When working on sensitive surfaces, you can fit the
sliding shoe onto the baseplate to prevent
scratching the surface.
♦
Mount the sliding shoe onto the front of the
baseplate and press it up at the back until it
clicks into place on the baseplate .
♦
To remove the sliding shoe , unfasten it at
the rear of the baseplate and slide it off the
front.
Operation
Setting the cutting angle
♦
Use your thumbs to press on the position marked
in fig. 2 to release the extraction nozzle . At
the same time, use your other hand to pull the
extraction nozzle out of the appliance in the
direction of the arrow.

Undo the locking screws with the supplied
hex key and pull the baseplate to the
rear.

Adjust the cutting angle to
0°/15°/22.5°/30°/45° with the aid of the
markings on the baseplate . Push the base-
plate forwards so that the locking pin engag-
es in the toothing .

Retighten the clamping screws with the hex
key .
NOTE
►
At cutting angles of 15°/22.5°/30°/ 45°,
the splinter guard must be removed
beforehand!
►
At a cutting angle of 45°, the blade guard
must also be removed beforehand.
►
At cutting angles of 15°/22.5°/30°, you can
leave the blade guard on the appliance.
Note, however, the optimum position of the
clamping screws on the insertion opening .
The clamping screws on the insertion opening
may not obstruct the blade guard .
Setting the stroke rate

Use the stroke rate adjusting wheel to set the
required stroke rate.
Adjusting the pendulum stroke
♦
You can use the pendulum stroke switch to
adjust the pendular movement of the saw blade
. You can achieve fine, clean-cut edges with-
out pendulum movement (setting "0"). Switch
off pendulum movement when working on thin
workpieces. You can achieve an increasingly
fast work rate if the pendulum stroke is activated
(settings 1–2).
Switching on/off
Switching the appliance on:
Move the ON/OFF switch into the "I" position.
The LED working light and the battery display
LED light up.
