7.3  Console Assembly 

 

This  section  explains  firstly  how  to  remove  the  console  assembly,  then  how  to 
disassemble  the  front  and  rear  mouldings  and  the  boards  and  components 
contained inside. Refer to Figures 19 and 24 throughout the following operations.

 

7.3.1 

Removing The Console Assembly 

 
1. 

Remove the lid and end panel section as described in Paragraph 7.2.3. 

 

 
2. 

Referring  to  44,  unplug  the  15  way  D  type  from  the  rear  of  the  console 
assembly. The console assembly can now be detached completely. The rear 
view is as shown in Figure 17.  

 
3. 

Re-fit the console assembly by reversing these instructions.

The  console  assembly  does  not  have  to  be removed  from  the  printer  assembly  to 
disassemble  the  front  and  rear  mouldings  of  the  console  assembly.  The  rear
