7.2.5

Removing The GPS and cable cover

Hinge open the lid as described in Paragraph 7.2.1.

Referring to Figure 15, undo the two M3 pozi screws securing the plastic
cover to the end panel.

The GPS is stuck to inside face of the end panel with adhesive backed tape.
Gently prise it off with a flat bladed screwdriver.

To remove the GPS antenna and cable, disconnect the GPS antenna from the
rear of the console as described in Paragraph 7.2.3.

Re-fit the GPS cable and cover by reversing these instructions. Ensure that
new adhesive tape is used if the GPS is refitted and not replaced.

Note

: There is an option for an external 3G/4G or GPS connector to be

fitted in the end panel so that an external 3G/4G or GPS can be
plugged in instead of the internal 3G/4G or GPS antenna.
