Removing The Wayfarer 6 Retaining Screws

The Wayfarer 6 is built in three main sections:
•
Console
•
Printer Assembly
•
Hinged lid and End Panel
These three sections are all held together by retaining screws that pass
through the sections from the rear to the front. Therefore the whole unit
can be disassembled into three parts by removing these screws.

With reference to Figure 11, and using a 4mm Allen key undo the four M5
socket cap head screws from the rear of the ETM. Remove the screws,
washers and shakeproofs for reassembly.

When refitting the screws ensure that you tighten in the correct order i.e
for left hand ticket exit machines tighten in order 1L, 2L, 3L and 4L. For
right hand ticket machines tighten in order 1R, 2R, 3R, 4R. Screws ahould be
tightened to 2 N/m.
