Instructions for use
The PARI child mask soft and the PARI adult mask soft are accessories for PARI
nebulisers (except the PARI TIA). They can be used for inhalation treatment of
the lower respiratory tract if it is not possible to use a mouthpiece, or if the patient
prefers to inhale through a mask. The PARI child mask soft is suitable for use by
children aged about 4 and older.

In general, inhalation with the mouthpiece is the most effective way of
treating the lower respiratory tract as this allows the greatest possible
quantity of medication to reach the lung.

Follow the instructions for assembly, inhalation, and cleaning the
masks in the instructions for use of the respective nebuliser.

The elastic strap on the masks cannot be disinfected or sterilised.

It is essential to ensure that the expiratory valve plate on your
mask is pressed out before each use
.

The mask can only be sterilised with a special mask stabiliser.
This is available from PARI as an accessory.

Gebrauchsanweisung
Die PARI Kindermaske soft und die PARI Erwachsenenmaske soft sind Zubehör
für PARI Vernebler (außer PARI TIA). Sie können für die Inhalationstherapie der
unteren Atemwege verwendet werden, wenn die Verwendung eines Mundstücks
nicht möglich ist oder vom Patienten eine Maskeninhalation bevorzugt wird. Die
PARI Kindermaske soft ist für Kinder ab ca. 4 Jahren geeignet.

Grundsätzlich ist eine Inhalation mit dem Mundstück die wirksamste
Form der Therapie der unteren Atemwege, da hiermit die größte
Menge an Medikament in die Lunge gelangt.

Beachten Sie die Hinweise zur Montage, Inhalation und Reinigung der
Masken in der jeweiligen Vernebler-Gebrauchsanweisung.

Das Gummiband der Masken kann weder desinfiziert noch sterilisiert
werden.

Achten Sie vor jeder Anwendung unbedingt darauf, dass das Aus-
atemventilplättchen Ihrer Maske nach außen gedrückt ist
.

Die Maske ist nur mit einem speziellen Maskenstabilisator sterili-
sierbar. Dieser ist bei PARI als Zubehör erhältlich.
