Ensure that you comply with the drilling depth

specified by the screw anchor / anchor manu-

facturer.

Depending on the condition of the wall, the holes

should be drilled using a rotary drill, as a hammer drill,

such as for bricks, could break the supports.

The drill dust gives you an indication of the structure of

the brickwork. If it is red, you are most likely drilling into

a brick wall, white drill dust indicates lime sandstone

and grey drill dust hints at concrete.
