Before lifting the ceiling, double check the safety latch ensuring it is in the safe position.
By opening and closing the gate valve the speed of the cylinder is adjustable. Close the valve,
then slowly open to confirm the speed in the up direction prior to operating the lift on the
elevator. Then with the weight off of the lift, open the valve so the cradle will easily return the
collapsed position
