Power Connection – DC Version
The chassis must be properly grounded before DC power is applied.
Grounding Lug
Procedure
To connect the unit to a ground:
1. Strip back the insulation approximately 5/16 of an inch (8 mm) on 14 AWG
copper ground wire.
2. Loosen the screw on the grounding lug located on the back of the unit.
3. Insert the stripped end of the wire through the bottom of the grounding lug and
tighten the screw. Ensure that the screw makes contact with the stripped
portion of the wire.
4. Attach the ground wire to an earth ground.
