5.3. VOD channels (Video On Demand)
You can rent programmes/films available on the various VOD channels on your Classic/
Comfort Box. To do this :
• Access a VOD channel (see list of VOD channels on p.22) and select a programme/film
from one of the categories
• Enter and confirm your location: your download will begin
• Wait until your Classic/Comfort Box notifies you that the programme/film has downloaded
enough to begin viewing (this may take up to 2 minutes)
• Once viewing is available, press
P
to play.
The 3 download monitoring indicators for programmes/films are :
Enough data downloaded to begin watching.
Not enough data downloaded - viewing available shortly.
The viewing period for the film has expired.
See the on-screen instructions to show the viewing periods for the programmes/films on offer.
You will usually be able to watch programmes/films as often as you like during the 24 to 48
hours after the first watching.
Note: you can continue to use your Classic/Comfort Box normally while programmes/
films are downloading
