12 Blinks Error Code

The transistor Q4930 monitors the 
speaker amplifier ICs (IC4900 – 
IC4901). Pin 3 is normally high. If any of 
the amplifier ICs or one of the speakers 
develops a short circuit, pin 3 goes low 
causing Q4930 to go into conduction 
and output a high to pin AG22 of the 
System CPU (IC8000) on the A board.
When this happens, the TV shuts down 
and the power LED blinks 12 times.
