Cleaning

For cleaning, remove the Power Plug and ensure that the main body has cooled down.

Be careful not to pull on the Packing attached to the main body (since this could result
in the Packing coming off or tearing).

After washing, wipe with a dry cloth.
When using for the first time & on every use
After removing,
Wash using a soft sponge
and a mild washing up liquid.
Mixed rice etc.
After using seasoning,
wash
promptly

Metal scourers, nylon scourers
impregnated with an abrasive etc.

Detach from the main body
and rinse under the tap.

If the dirt is difficult to remove,
soak in water for a few
minutes and then rinse.

Removing
Holding the finger grip, press
down and then pull towards
you. Be careful to avoid
pulling on the Packing.

Attaching
Follow the reverse procedure to removing, and press in
securely. (P.11)
Inner Lid
Wash using a mild washing up liquid.
After using seasoning (for mixed rice etc.), please wash
promptly.
(Since these can cause odours, putrefaction, or rust.)

to tilt, hold down the
button, insert your
finger into the hole
and pull towards
you.

Attaching
Insert into the groove and press into the Outer Lid until

Do not use as a washing up bowl.
( Since this may result in peeling of the inner coating.)
Clear Frame
Wipe with a well-wrung cloth.

Water droplets may drop from the condensation outlet
onto the Clear Frame.

Wipe off the water droplets
on the Clear Frame every
time after using the
appliance.

Do not wash by pouring in
water etc.

Inner surfaces of Outer Lid / Packing
Wipe with a well-wrung cloth.
O
Remove the Taste Catcher and wipe the inner surfaces
of the Outer Lid, the attaching portion of the Taste
Catcher and the Packing.
Lid Sensor / Pan Sensor
Wipe with a well-wrung cloth.
O
If the dirt is hard to remove, dab a
mild washing up liquid on a nylon
scourer and wipe gently.

If the Warm Jar is used with dirt on the sensors, the rice
may burn or cook imperfectly.
