15.3. The advantages of using HighMAT

Applying the HighMAT standard will solve the following problems and will improve usability.

- It will create a common user interface for both PC and consumer

products.

- Regardless of the types of consumer products, such as DVD

players, portable CD players, car stereos and minicomputers, a
consistent way to play for digital content will be created, and it will
make it easier to retrieve data.
