Terminating connection with the Intel

WiDi / Intel

Pro WiDi / Miracast compatible terminal

Terminate connection from the Intel

WiDi / Intel

Pro WiDi / Miracast application on the device. When

disconnected, the MIRRORING idle screen is displayed.
If you terminate the connection forcibly such as turning off the device power without going through the

disconnection process, it may take some time before the MIRRORING idle screen is displayed.

Note

Miracast is a standard established by the Wi-Fi Alliance for the wireless transmission of device screens.

Intel

WiDi and Intel

Pro WiDi are standards developed by Intel Corporation for wireless transmission between devices. They are based on

the Miracast standard and integrated with other technologies and functions.

When the [WIRELESS LAN] (

page 84) menu is set to [DISABLE], the MIRRORING function is also disabled.

When using space in [PROJECTOR NAME], either the MIRRORING idle screen or the projector name displayed in the Intel

WiDi / Intel

Pro WiDi / Miracast compatible devices, the space will be replaced by an underbar (single-byte "_").
