tion Condition of the Detection Movement of the Mechanism Remedy

F15 The capstan FG is not output when Cassette is inserted. (There is
a possibility of the capstan system Error.)
If the capstan FG is less than 150 edges during the shift from EJECT
position to LOAD position when a cassette is inserted, it is judged Error
of the capstan system.

“15” is memorized on the self- diagnosis history, when the Error is
detected.

The cassette is output.
Please check the
capstan motor,
capstan motor drive
circuit and the CAP
FG signal circuit. No
H16 Cylinder lock detection during the constant rotation of the
cylinder.
If the HS pulse could not be detected over 500msecond during the
cylinder is rotating, it is judged an Error of the cylinder system.
There is a possibility of that the cylinder is tightened with the tape
because the tape tension is risen by the tape load.

“15” is memorized on the self- diagnosis history, when the Error is
detected.

The mechanism is shifted to OFF position, and the Cylinder is stopped.
Please check the
Cylinder motor,
Cylinder motor drive
circuit and the CYL
HSW signal circuit. No
H17 S-reel lock detection in constant running of the S-reel.
If the S-reel pulses could not be detected over the regulated time while
tape is running, it is judged S-reel lock.

“17” is memorized on the self- diagnosis history.

The mechanism is shifted to LOAD position and tape rewinding is
performed.

The mechanism is shifted to PLAY position, and then stopped.

The self-diagnosis history is not remained when an Error in FF or REW,
the mechanism is shifted to LOAD position, and then rewinding is
performed.

The mechanism is shifted to PLAY position, and then the pinch pressure
runs the tape.

If an Error is detected again, “17” is memorized on the self-diagnosis
history.

The mechanism is shifted to LOAD position, and then tape rewinding is
