2. Reinstall body support.
3. Reinstall dust cover as outlined in Dust Cover Removal
and Replacement section.
NOTE:
For general servicing, it is necessary to eliminate pinch-
ing of any wire during reassembly. After servicing any electrical
component or electrical enclosure, the vacuum cleaner should
be reassembled and checked for dielectric breakdown or cur-
rent leakage.
3.4.
Motor Replacement
3.4.1.
Removal
1. Remove the dust cover as outlined in the Dust Cover
Removal and Replacement section.
2. Remove the four (4) screws from the motor case and then
remove the motor case and motor support cover.
3. Remove nozzle housing as described in the Nozzle
Housing Replacement section.
4. Disconnect the motor leads and remove the motor.
5. Remove the flange unit, motor support (rear), and motor
support rubbers (front and rear). Place these items on the
new motor.
3.4.2.
Installation
1. Place the motor back into the dust compartment.
2. Rewire per the Wire Management.
3. Replace the motor case and motor support cover. Secure
with the four (4) screws removed earlier.

3.5.
Nozzle Housing Replacement
3.5.1.
Removal
1. Press handle release pedal. Lay vacuum cleaner back on
a flat surface.
2. Disconnect hoses from vacuum cleaner.
3. Rotate nozzle housing upward removing floor nozzle
spring from dust compartment.
4. Once left side has cleared, remove nozzle housing from
motor shaft.
