Clean the pre-filter by gently brushing the dust off with a soft
brush.
If any threads, strings, hairs, etc., are wound around the
pre-filter and/or pre-filter wiper, cut -through them (with care)
using a pair of scissors.
Re-assemble and replace the dust compartment (see page 9).

Pull the pre-filter away
from the dust cover.
To install the
replacement, align
the claws on the edge
of the pre-filter with
the arrows on the
dust cover support
as shown and push
the parts together.
Pre-filter cleaning
If the pre-filter becomes very dusty, or threads etc get wrapped around the pre-filter, it should be cleaned.
To clean or replace the pre-filter:
Remove the dust compartment, then remove the dust cover (see Page 9).
IMPORTANT: Before re-assembling dust compartment, check that the pre-filter wiper rotates in the
anticlockwise direction.
BLOCKAGES
If your cleaner stops picking up dust and the dust container is empty, a blockage may have
occurred in the hose, suction inlet or suction pipe inlet.
How to remove a blockage in the hose, suction inlet or suction pipe inlet.
Suction pipe inlet

1) Remove the hose from the
suction pipe inlet, hose clip
and hose support.
2) First remove the dust compartment
assembly. Then stretch the hose and from
the suction inlet or from the connection
pipe pass through a blunt flexible stick to
clear the obstruction.
NOTE: Take care not to damage the hose.
3) If the obstruction occurs in
the suction pipe inlet, it can
be removed with care as
show.
