3 Troubleshooting Guide
CONDITION PARTS TO BE CHECKED CHECK METHOD REMEDY
The motor does not rotate. Power cord Check if the power cord is broken.
Inspect the cord in the cord reel
assy for continuity. If the cord is broken, replace the
cord reel assy.
Fuse (FUSE1: 250V, 10A)
(on the P.C.B) Visually check if the fuse has
blown.
• Check the cause of fusing.
1. Burnt motor or shorted coil
2. Shorted lead wire
3. Burnt P.C.B
etc.
If the fuse has blown, remove the
cause and replace the P.C.B assy.
Motor Inspect the continuity between the
motor terminals. If there is no continuity, replace the
motor.
ON/OFF switch (on the P.C.B) Turn the switch on and off to check
the continuity. If there is a problem, replace the
P.C.B assy.
P.C.B assy Check the internal components for
problems.
(Burnt, melted, broken, etc.) If there is a problem, replace the
P.C.B assy.
Triac (in the P.C.B) Check the triac by conducting the
following inspection. If there is a problem, replace the
P.C.B assy.
The motor rotates, but dust cannot
be picked up.
Dust cannot be picked up. Dust bag (paper bag)
Filter Check if the paper bag is full of
dust.
Check if the filter is clogged with
dust. If the paper bag is full of dust,
replace it with a new one.
If the filter is clogged with dust, and
clean or replace it.
Hose, extension wand, floor
nozzle Check if the part is clogged with an
obstruction. If there is an obstruction, remove it.
Large vibration
Large noise Motor fan Check for dust in the motor fan.
(If the dust leaks or if the filter is
missing, then dust will be able to
penetrate the motor.) There is dust in the motor.
Check for dust leaks and filter sta-
tus, and replace the part if neces-
sary.
The motor output (suction power)
cannot be changed. P.C.B assy Check if the resistance of the out-
put control switch connected to the
P.C.B assy changes using a tester.
(Lead wires Red-Black Red-White). If there is a problem, replace the
P.C.B assy.
