Note
•
"Subnet mask" can only be set when
"IPv4" is set for "IP Address Format" .
•
"Prefix length" can only be set when
"IPv6" is set for "IP Address Format" .
•
If "IPv4" is set for "IP Address Format" ,
and "Destination" , "Subnet mask" , or
"Gateway" contains 1 or 2 digit numbers,
enter these numbers as they are. Do not
enter like [.001].
Example: The IP address is [192.168.0.1].

Correct entry: [192.168.0.1]

Wrong entry: [192.168.000.001]

For the input format for "Destination" and
"Gateway" when "IPv6" is set for "IP
Address Format" , refer to Page 47.
"LAN Mode (LAN 2)" : Press [ENTER] and use
[ ][ ] to select the LAN mode.

"1 Gbps (Auto)" : Negotiates with the other
party to determine the LAN mode. The
maximum setting is 1 Gbps (full duplex).
–
"1 Gbps (Fix)" : Fixes the LAN mode to 1 Gbps
(full duplex).
–
"100 Mbps (Auto)" (default): Negotiates with
the other party to determine the LAN mode. The
maximum setting is 100 Mbps (full duplex).
–
"100 Mbps (Fix)" : Fixes the LAN mode to 100
Mbps (full duplex).
–
"10 Mbps (Fix)" : Fixes the LAN mode to 10
Mbps (full duplex).
Note
•
"LAN Mode (LAN 2)" is not available if
"LAN 2" is set to "OFF" in step 6.
•
This setting is only displayed for the
KX-VC2000.
•
Match settings according to the hub or
router to be connected.
•
When "10 Mbps (Fix)" is set, set the "Max.
Bandwidth" of "Call set up" to 10 Mbps or
lower (Page 122).

Press [G] .
•
A dialogue box to confirm the saving of settings
is displayed.

Use [ ][ ] to select "Yes" and press [ENTER] .

The routing list screen is displayed.

To continue setting another routing, repeat
steps
8 – 12 .

The input "Destination" is converted to a
network address and then used. There is no
need to register multiple destination IP
addresses that have the same network
address.

Press [BACK] .

The system settings screen is displayed.
Making Connection Settings
Note
•
You can use the administrator menu to hide the
connection settings screen (Page 153).

Select "Call set up" and press [ENTER] .
•
The connection settings screen is displayed.

Use [ ][ ] to select the following items for input:

The following items are displayed over 3 pages.
To view all the items, press
[R] to move to the
next page, and press [B] to move to the
previous page.
Note
•
You must save the settings separately
for each screen on which you changed
the settings.
•
When "SIP" is set to "OFF" on the call
type settings screen (Page 143),
"Encryption (SIP)" cannot be set.
•
When "H.323" is set to "OFF" on the
call type settings screen (Page 143),
"Encryption (H.323)" cannot be set.
"Answer Mode" : Use [ ][ ] to select how to
answer video conference calls ( "Manual" [default],
"Auto" , or "Forced Answer" ) (Page 63).
"More than one incoming call" : Use [ ][ ] to
select whether to accept calls from Sub Sites to
make video conferences of more than 2 parties.

"ON" (default): Allow calls with more than 2
parties.
–
"OFF" : Do not allow calls to have more than 2
parties.
Note
•
For sites operating as "Main Sites" in
multiple-party video conference calls using
the built-in MCU, select
"ON" .
•
When using a KX-VC1000 that has not
been expanded for 4 Point Built-in MCU
support,
"More than one incoming call" is
not displayed.
