"Max. Bandwidth" : Press [ENTER] and use [ ]
[ ] to select the maximum allowed bandwidth to
be used ( 256 kbps – 24 Mbps ) (default: 9.0 Mbps ).
Note
•
Except for the KX-VC2000, settings from
256 kbps to 18 Mbps are available.
•
Even if 24 Mbps is selected, the maximum
bandwidth for transmission between 2
parties is 18 Mbps (KX-VC2000).
"Max. Bandwidth Per Site (LAN 1)" : Press
[ENTER] , and then use [ ][ ] to select the
maximum bandwidth per site ( "256 kbps" -
"18 Mbps" , or "Not Specified" ) (default: "Not
Specified" ).
"Max. Bandwidth Per Site (LAN 2)" (KX-VC1600/
KX-VC2000): Press [ENTER] , and then use [ ]
[ ] to select the maximum bandwidth per site
( "256 kbps" - "18 Mbps" , or "Not Specified" )
(default: "Not Specified" ).

For the KX-VC1300, "Max. Bandwidth Per
Site (LAN 1)" is displayed as "Max.
Bandwidth Per Site" .
•
When using a KX-VC1000 that has been
expanded for 4 Point Built-in MCU support,
"Max. Bandwidth Per Site (LAN 1)" is
displayed as "Max. Bandwidth Per Site" .
If the feature is not expanded, this item is
not displayed.
•
During a 2-party call, the bandwidth of the
site with the lowest-set maximum
bandwidth is applied, and in a multiple-party
call, bandwidth is applied according to each
site’s maximum bandwidth and the number
of connected sites. However, when the
value of
"Max. Bandwidth Per
Site" (excluding "Not Specified" ) is
smaller, the value of "Max. Bandwidth Per
Site" is applied as the maximum bandwidth.
•
You cannot select a value that is higher than
the maximum bandwidth set by the dealer.
For details, contact your dealer.
"Dual stream" : Use [ ][ ] to select whether dual
stream communication is enabled.

"ON" (default): Enables dual stream
communication.

"OFF" Disables dual stream communication.
"Send Content Method" : Press [ENTER] , and
then use [ ][ ] to select the contents sending
method when dual stream is enabled.

"Auto" (default): Automatically selects either
dual stream or single stream.
–
"Single stream" : Fixed to single stream.
"Encode rate" : Press [ENTER] and use [ ][ ]
to select the encoding rate ratio for the main stream
and sub stream.

"Main (30%) < Sub (70%)" : Prioritise the sub
stream during calls.

"Main (50%) = Sub (50%)" (default): Use the
same priorities during calls.
–
"Main (70%) > Sub (30%)" : Prioritise the main
stream during calls.
"Video Quality (Main Camera)" / "Video Quality
(Sub Camera)" : Press [ENTER] and use [ ][ ]
to select between prioritising smooth movement or
image quality for video.

"Motion" (default): Prioritise smooth
movement.

"Sharpness" : Prioritise image quality.

"Resolution (Max. Full HD)" : Fixes the
resolution to full HD or the other party’s
maximum resolution, whichever is lower,
regardless of the communication bandwidth.

"Resolution (Max. HD)" : Fixes the resolution
to HD or the other party’s maximum resolution,
whichever is lower, regardless of the
communication bandwidth.
"Video Quality (PC)" : Press [ENTER] and use
[ ][ ] to select between prioritising smooth
movement or image quality for video.

"Motion" : Prioritise smooth movement.

"Sharpness" (default): Prioritise image quality.
"Quality of Service" : Use [ ][ ] to select
between prioritising sound or images when
bandwidth is low or the network is congested.

"Audio" (default): When bandwidth is low
sound quality is prioritised, and when the
network is congested sound disturbance is
reduced.

"Video" : Even when bandwidth is low or the
network is congested, image quality is
prioritised.
"Default MIC Mute set (Make Call)" : Use [ ]
[ ] to select whether the microphone will be muted
or not when making a call to start a video
conference.
–
"ON" : The microphone will be muted.
–
"OFF" (default): The microphone will not be
muted.
"Default MIC Mute set (Incoming)" : Use [ ]
[ ] to select whether to mute the microphone(s) at
the start of a received video conference call.
