Setting up

Inserting/removing the SIM
card

The SIM (Subscriber Identity Module)
card must be inserted before using the
unit.

Important:

L

Before handling the SIM card:
– ensure that the base unit is turned

off.

– disconnect the plug before opening

the SIM card cover.

Inserting the SIM card

Press the notch on the SIM card
cover firmly, and slide it in the
direction of the arrow.

Position the SIM card as shown with
IC-side (gold contacts) facing down
and notched corner facing right.
Carefully slide the SIM card into the
SIM card pocket.

Important:

L

Ensure that the SIM card is fully
inserted so that the SIM card
cover can be properly closed.

Close the SIM card cover after you
finish.

Removing the SIM card

To remove the SIM card, place a finger
on the bottom edge of the SIM card and
gently slide it out.
