Before Requesting Help

General

Problem

The unit does not work.

You cannot program items,
such as the dialing mode.

•

Clean the charge contacts and charge
again (p. 12).

Install the battery properly (p. 80).

•

Insert the handset in the cradle and
unplug the AC adaptor to reset. Plug in,
and try again.

•

Re-install the battery and insert the
handset in the cradle (p. 80). Try again.

•

Programming is not possible while the
unit is in the talk or speakerphone mode,
when viewing the Caller List/directory
list, or while the answering system is in
use.

•

Do not pause for over 60 seconds while
programming.

Move closer to the base unit.
