Features Guide

Intercept Routing

Description

Provides automatic redirection of incoming outside calls. There are two types of Intercept
Routing. In the first case, a call cannot be placed to the called party. This is called Rerouting.
In the second case the call is not answered within a programmed time period. This is called
Intercept Routing - No Answer (IRNA).
Items which can have the Intercept Routing destination are:

1.

CO Line Group,

2.

Extension, and

3.

Hunting Group.

Conditions

•

Intercept Routing applies to DIL 1:1, DIL 1:N, TAFAS, Call Forwarding, and Station
Hunting.

•

The final destination of intercepted calls must be programmed for day and night modes.
There are six possible destinations:

a)

an extension

b)

an external pager

c)

a hunting group

d)

an external ringer

e)

a phantom extension

f)

a voice mail extension

•

Intercept Routing is activated as shown below, depending on the combination of incoming
type and called destination.

•

If the Call Forwarding to CO Line feature is set at the IRNA destination, the call will be
forwarded to the specific outside party.
