Base Unit PIN
with the Handset
Setting the 4-digit Base Unit PIN
You can program a 4-digit base unit PIN (Personal Identification Number). The factory preset is 0000.
Changing the PIN may prevent the unauthorised use of your unit by another person.

Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN

”. To return to the standby mode,

base unit PIN is incorrect. Enter the correct
4-digit base unit PIN.

Make sure that the power is ON (p. 15), and the unit is in the standby mode.
Once you have programmed the 4-digit base unit PIN, you cannot confirm it. We recommend you
to write down the 4-digit base unit PIN. If you forget it, please contact Panasonic’s Customer Care
Centre.
You need to enter the 4-digit base unit PIN when using the following functions.
