If you experience any trouble
If you experience any trouble with the app’s features, first confirm the following.

Are your base unit and wireless router turned on and functioning properly?
→ Refer to the operating instructions supplied with your wireless router for troubleshooting
information if necessary. Make sure all cables are functioning and firmly connected.

Have you configured the base unit to connect to your wireless router?
→ Refer to the Smartphone Connect Setup Guide or Operating Instructions supplied with your
phone system for information if necessary.

Is your smartphone’s Wi-Fi feature turned enabled?
→ Refer to the operating instructions supplied with your smartphone for troubleshooting
information if necessary.
R
Is your smartphone within range of the wireless router that the base unit is connected to?
→ In most cases, your smartphone cannot communicate with your base unit if they are not
connected to the same wireless router.
→ Your smartphone cannot communicate with your base unit when you are away from home.

Is there a problem with the quality of your wireless router’s signals?
→ Refer to “Wireless router signal quality” on page 23.
