R While talking to the other party, you can send a fax
using the scanner glass by pressing
M Start N , and
then M 1 N (To receive a fax, press M 2 N ).
To remove the handset unit
1.
Pull the handset unit slightly forward ( A ), then lift it
in the direction of the arrow ( B ) to remove the rib.

2. Remove the tab ( C ), then disconnect the handset
connector ( D ).

9.5 Making a phone call using
one-touch dial feature or
phonebook (KX-MB2025/
KX-MB2030 only)
Before using this feature, store the desired names and
telephone numbers in one-touch dial feature and
phonebook (page 43).
R Make sure that the M Fax N light is ON.
9.5.1 Using one-touch dial feature

Press M Monitor N or lift the handset.

Select the desired station key.
For station 1–3:
Press the desired station key.
For station 4–6:
Press M Lower N , then press the desired station key.
R The unit will start dialling automatically.
9.5.2 Using the phonebook

Press M Phonebook N .
R Confirm that there are no documents in the
document entrance.

Press MCN or MDN repeatedly to display the desired
item.

Press M Monitor N or lift the handset.
R The unit will start dialling automatically.
