Home Network System
integration
If you have other devices registered to the
hub, such as cameras, sensors, and smart
plugs, you can use the handset as an
integrated part of the Home Network System.
Specifically, you can use the handset to:
– arm and disarm the alarm system
– receive notifications when the sensors are
triggered.
– display the status of each sensor
– turn smart plugs on and off (page 41).
Alarm system features
You can use the handset to arm and disarm
the alarm system. If the system’s sensors are
triggered when the system is armed, such as
when motion is detected or when a door or
window is opened:
– the handset and hub sound an alert.
– the handset displays information about the
detection.
– the hub LED indicator blinks quickly in red.
– the
M
N
button on the handset blinks
rapidly.

Arming and disarming the
system
The alarm system has 3 modes.

“
At Home
”
: Use this mode when someone
is at home.

Away
”
: Use this mode when no one is at
home.
–
“
Disarm
”
: Use this mode when alarm
system features are not needed.

The hub’s LED indicator lights in red when
the arm mode is set to

arm modes. For more information, refer to
the User’s Guide (page 42).

operating this system. We recommend
changing the PIN from the default before
operating the system (default:

hub sounds an alert for 1 minute by

; this gives you time to leave
home before the sensors can be
triggered (Exit delay time). The
sensors will be armed when the alert
stops.

is still open when you arm the alarm
system, the handset will notify you.
