By connecting a compatible video camera to your computer using the supplied cable, you can copy video located on the internal recording
media of the video camera or on the SD card installed in the video camera, to your computer or create discs.
Important
To avoid draining the battery of notebook computers or video
cameras, use an AC adapter with these devices.

Start the computer.

Turn on the video camera.

Connect the video camera to a computer.
Insert the USB cable supplied with the video camera firmly
into the respective USB ports of the camera and computer.

Perform the video camera settings for
connection to the computer.
See the Operating Instructions for the video camera for
details.

Confirm that the video camera is
recognized by the computer.
The video camera is correctly recognized by the computer if
the video camera is added as a drive in [Computer] (or [My
Computer]).
If a window like this is
displayed, close it.

When using an SD card
reader, do not close this
window. Select the window
menu item you want in
order to copy the SD card
content.
In this example, select
