Optical image stabilizer
function
Optical image stabilizer can stabilize the image without decreasing the image quality as much.

Rotate the mode dial to select .
This function’s default setting is [ON].
Set the intelligent auto mode to [OFF] before turning the optical image stabilizer function to [OFF].
In still picture recording mode, pressing the button halfway increases the effect of the image
stabilizer function. (MEGA optical image stabilizer)
In the following cases, the image stabilizer function may not work effectively.
$ When the digital zoom is used
$ When the unit is shaken greatly
$ When you record a moving subject while tracking it

When the conversion lens is used
