Power Level Calibration
1.
Connect the test equipment as shown in Figure 6.7:

With the Channel Box software running, click on the TX CAL button
3.
Click on the START CALIBRATION button.
4.
The handset will switch to the channel indicated in the top left corner of the window. The power level required for that
channel will be displayed next to ‘Meter Reading’.
5.
Move the ‘Adjust Power’ slide control until the reading on the power meter reaches the required power level for the channel.
(Movement is achieved by positioning the mouse pointer over the Adjust Power slide control, holding down the left mouse
button and moving the mouse. When the slide control is at the required position, release the left mouse button.)

NOTE:
To ensure that the telephone operates within set SAR margins, Panasonic recommends that a power meter
capable of measurement to an accuracy of ±0.2 dB is used when calibrating power levels. Use of a less
accurate power meter may result in the telephone failing to meet SAR standards.
