Cause/solution
The camera cannot be turned on.
Does the power cable plugged into the power outlet securely?
Operation from the IP connected remote camera
controller is not possible.
Is the power turned on?

Confirm that the <DC IN> lamp on the camera is lit.

Confirm that the DC cable plugged into the camera securely.
Is a valid IP address of the camera set?
Is the correct camera to be operated selected?
Is the remote camera controller connected correctly?

Also refer to the Operating Instructions of the remote camera controller.
f
Confirm that the user account registered on the IPU is the same as that registered on the remote camera
controller.
f
Confirm that the firmware for the remote camera controller is compatible with the unit.
f
Update of the firmware for the remote camera controller to support this unit may be required. Contact
your dealer.
The image cannot be processed by the IPU.
The image cannot be displayed from the <HD SDI
PROMPT OUT> terminal of the camera.
Is the <OPT> lamp on the camera off?

Confirm that the camera and IPU are connected correctly by optical fiber cables.
f
Confirm that the <OPT> lamp on the camera is lit.
Are the <OPTICAL LEVEL> indicators on the IPU off?

Confirm that the camera and IPU are connected correctly by optical fiber cables.

Confirm that the <OPTICAL LEVEL> indicators on the IPU are lit.
Are the optical connectors or optical fiber cables dirty?
f
When the optical connectors or optical fiber cables are dirty, the optical signal is attenuated and does
not work properly. Remove dust and dirt from the optical connectors and optical fiber cables on a regular
basis.

Be sure to attach the protective caps when the optical fiber cables are not connected to this unit.
Did you shoot with the lens cap on?
f
Remove the lens cap when you shoot with the camera.
The correct signal has not been selected for the <HD SDI PROMPT IN> terminal of the IPU.

Confirm that the correct signal is selected for the <HD SDI PROMPT IN> terminal of the IPU
This unit cannot be updated.
It is not possible to update only the camera or only the IPU.

Confirm that the camera and IPU are connected correctly by optical fiber cables.
It takes time for the images to be output from when
the power is turned on.
It takes time for the camera and IPU settings to be made. This is not a malfunction.
Output images are disrupted while updating the
firmware.
Depending on the nature of the firmware update, there may be an impact on output systems which may
disrupt images. This is not a malfunction.
