Chapter 3 Operation — Convenient shooting functions
Color bar
The color bar convenient to adjust the image quality of a TV or an external monitor can be displayed.
Five types of color bar type ([FULL]/[SMPTE]/[ARIB]/[UHDTV CB]/[UHDTV CB LIGHT]) can be selected in [MAIN MENU]
→ [SWITCH MODE] → [BAR
SETTING] → [BAR SELECT].
Focus assist function
The focus assist function enables you to focus the target easily.
Expanded display, focus assist color display (display where the contour of the image is bordered with the selected color), can be displayed in the output
from the <HD SDI OUT 2> terminal.
Focus assist color display
Set to [MAIN MENU] → [DISPLAY SETUP] → [MARKER] → [FOCUS ASSIST] → [IN RED SW] → [ON] in advance.
Select either of [RED]/[GREEN] in [MAIN MENU] → [DISPLAY SETUP] → [MARKER] → [FOCUS ASSIST] → [IN RED COLOR].
The contour of the image is bordered with the selected color when set to [MAIN MENU] → [DISPLAY SETUP] → [MARKER] → [FOCUS ASSIST] → [IN
RED SW] → [ON].
Adjust the focus so that the contour of the subject to focus will turn into the selected color.

ROI function
This is a feature for cropping 4 HD images from 8K high-resolution images, and then controlling them.
The following HD signals are output when [MAIN MENU] → [SYSTEM MODE] → [PIXEL] → [1080] is selected.

HD images cropped from 8K images (CROP images)

<HD SDI OUT 1>/<HD SDI OUT 2> terminal:
HD images from 8K (entire image)
A separately available personal computer, software key AK-SFC101 and joystick controller will be required for HD ROI control.
