Appendix A. CE Mark Compliance

A.1 Introduction

For CE Mark compliance, the Model XMT868i flow transmitter must be wired in accordance with the instructions in this 

appendix.

IMPORTANT:

CE Mark compliance is required for all units intended for use in EU countries.

A.2 Wiring

The Model XMT868i must be wired with the recommended cable, and all connections must be properly shielded and 

grounded. Refer to 

Table 21

 below for the specific requirements.

Note:

If the Model XMT868i is wired as described in this appendix, the unit will comply with the EMC Directive.
