Using a phone 
headset

You can connect a phone headset for 
hands-free operation. You can use the 
headset that came with your smartphone 
or compatible third-party headsets.

IMPORTANT

If driving while using a 

smartphone is permitted where you are 
and you need to make a call, we 
recommend using a phone headset or a 
hands-free car kit (sold separately). If you 
must use the wired headset while driving, 
place a speaker in only one ear. Leave the 
other ear free to hear outside noises. Make 
such a call only if it is legal to do so and you 
can do so safely.
