Decal Placement
For opera
tor’s safety, all decals appearing in the “Decal Kit” must be placed visibly on control
side of liftgate to be read by operator. This is typically a combination of decals on the liftgate columns.
Please make sure to place the maximum capacity decal (C) on driver and curb side.

1. Improper operation of this lift gate can result in serious personal injury. Do
not operate unless you have been properly instructed, have read, and are
familiar with, the operating instructions. If you do not have a copy of the
instructions please obtain them from your employer, distributor or lesser, as
appropriate, before you attempt to operate the lift gate.
2. Be certain the vehicle is properly and securely braked before using the liftgate.
3. Always inspect this lift gate for maintenance or damage before using it. If
there are signs of improper maintenance, damage to vital part, or a slippery
platform surface, do not use the lift gate. Do not attempt your own repairs,
unless you are specifically trained.
4. Do not overload. See the Mfg. Literature and/or Rating Label on the unit for
the rated load. Remember that this limit applies to both raising and lowering
operations.
5. Each load should be placed in a stable position as near as possible to the
center of the platform.
6. Never allow yourself, a helper, or a bystander to stand in a position where an
unstable load might fall on them. Do not allow any part of your or your helper’s
body to be placed under, through, or around any portion of the moving lift gate,
or in a position that would trap them between any parts when the lift gate is
operated.
7. This lift gate is intended for loading and unloading of cargo only. Do not use
this lift gate for anything but it’s intended use. The lift gate is not equipped
with a back up system to prevent falling in the event of a failure.
BEFORE OPERATING LIFT, BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND:
OPEN AND CLOSE
LIFTGATE WITH PLATFORM
FULLY RAISED
1. Power liftgate by turning the master disconnect switch
to the "ON" position. Switch is located on the pump box.
2. Be certain operating area around platform is clear before
operating liftgate.
3. Using the “UP” button, power the platform up so that it is
completely out of the travel lock.
4. Using the “DOWN” button and “OPEN” button simultaneously,
power open platform.
5. Using the “Down” button twice (within 3 seconds) for power
down (use power down with no load on platform).
1. With the platform open power platform all the way up.
2. Push the "UP" button and "CLOSE" button simultaneously to
close the platform
3. Using the “DOWN” button, push down twice (within 3 seconds)
and power down platform past the Travel Lock.
4. Using the "UP" button, power platform up to lift the lock Catch.
5. Power platform up until Travel Ear clears the Travel Lock slot.
6. Use the "Down" button, push down twice (within 3 seconds) to
power down Travel Ear into the Travel Lock slot.
7. Turn off power to liftgate by turning the master disconnect
switch, located on the pump box to the "OFF" position.

PTV - 2 PC FOLDING PLATFORMS
1. Turn on power to liftgate by turning on the master disconnect
switch, located on the pump box, to the “ON” position.
2. Using the "UP" button, power platform up so that it is
completely out of the travel locks.
3. Using the “DOWN” button power the platform down until the
platform is level with the truck floor and hits the Dock Stops.
4. When finished Dock Loading, be certain to raise the platform
to travel position before pulling truck away from dock.
