Sharpening the saw-chain in the

firewood processor

Lift up the protective net for the splitting chute.

Turn the motor to a horizontal position by the
saw-bar.

Now you can file the chain.

Lubricating the tip wheel

Open the protective net for the splitting chute

Clean the lubrication hole A that is shown in Fig.
35.

Lubricate with Vaseline using a grease gun

Sharpening the saw-chain in a vice



Put the saw-chain on the saw-bar and attach the saw-bar to, for instance, a vice, Fig. 36 A



Then the chain is easy to move forward, it stays properly in position in the saw-bar groove and
is easy to file.



Attach the saw-chain directly to the vice; the chain will stay firmly in position, Fig. 36 B.



Strictly maintain the original sharpening angle of the saw-teeth and sharpen the teeth in the
same way on both sides.

NOTE!

A chain, sharpened incorrectly, will pull on one side and does not go straight into the

wood.
