Set up the password for playback and setup change.
•
On/Off: Enable or disable the password for playback and setup change.
NOTE: When selecting Off , the user can access the features without a password.
•
Password: Set up the password (up to eight digits may be entered).
•
Key Lock On:
Disable using the buttons on the front panel.
NOTE: Refer to the following Enable/Disable Key Lock section for details of setting up
the key-lock mode.

1. Move to the Key Lock On button, and press
ENTER
to key-lock the DVR.
2. The dialog box asking the key-lock password appears when any button is pressed. Enter
the password 4231 to release a key-lock function.

1. Enter the password in the dialog box asking an administrator password.
2. If the password matches, the DVR confirms whether clearing all recorded data or not.
3. Select the
Yes button to delete the data. The DVR will restart automatically.
CAUTION: ALL RECORDED DATA WILL BE LOST BECAUSE THE HARD DISK WILL
BE INITIALIZED.
