2.3.4 Functional Test
The functional test of the safe restart lock is necessary, to check the correct mode of
operation. This procedure has to be done:

after installation
•
on a regular basis, after one year at the latest
When the function check leads to impermissible states, check for errors and then restart the
commissioning of the machine. If the function test has been unsuccessful, don’t start the
