TIPS FOR BEST PERFORMANCE
WATER DRAINAGE
To get the most out of your air conditioner, follow these recommendations:
• Close all the windows in the room.
• Protect the room from direct exposure to the sun by partially closing curtains and/or blinds to
make the unit much more efficient.
•
NEVER
rest objects of any kind on the air conditioner.
•
DO NOT
obstruct the air intake and outlet. Leave the grilles free.
• Make sure there are no heat sources in the room.
•
NEVER
use the unit in very damp rooms (such as the laundry room).
•
NEVER
use the unit outdoors.
• Make sure the air conditioner is standing on a level surface. If necessary, place caster locks
under the front wheels.
This air conditioner is equipped with MIST technology which means the water tank nearly never fills.
Hence, water drainage will generally only be required at the end of the season. (See START & END OF
SEASON OPERATIONS on page 16.) On rare occasions, the tank may still require emptying during the
season as indicated by “Ft” (Full Tank) on the unit display.
NOTE:
As a safety measure, to absolutely prevent water spillage, the air conditioner is equipped with
a fail safe device if the water tank fills. The unit will completely stop, the control panel displays “Ft”
(“Full Tank” as mentioned in the ERROR CODE section on the previous page), and the compressor
and fan will not restart until the tank has been drained. (See START & END OF SEASON OPERATIONS
on page 16.)
