STEP 3
Wind it forwards.
Lock Nut
STEP 4
Wind the adjuster nut towards the lock nut.
As you adjust, keep checking the tension on
the OPC cable until the desired tension is
reached.
STEP 4
Tighten the lock nut back towards the adjuster
nut then attempt to start the lawn mower. If
the lawn mower starts, tighten both nut
securely. If not, repeat the process until the
lawn mower will start.
NOTE - It is necessary as part of routine
maintenance to adjust the OPC cable tension
to ensure the lawnmower will start correctly.
If there is more than 10mm movement in the
OPC lever before the cable begins to move,
then the OPC cable will require adjustment.
STEP 1
If adjustment is required, trace the OPC
cable down from the handle to the engine
of the lawn mower, until you reach the OPC
cable adjuster.
STEP 2
Undo the lock nut.
