Warming up the machine on cold days
Starting the engine in cold environments can be difficult – the fuel may be condensed
and the viscosity of the hydraulic oil may have increased. Therefore the fuel should be
chosen, cf. the ambient temperature.
When the hydraulic oil has a temperature that is below 25
o
C, it is necessary to warm
the machine up before use.
1)
Adjust the throttle so that the engine operates at medium speed and then move the
bucket slowly forward and back for five minutes.
IMPORTANT: Do not activate other operating elements other than the bucket.
2)
Adjust the throttle so that the engine operates at high speed and then move the boom,
arm and bucket for 5–10 minutes.
IMPORTANT: Operate only the boom, arm and bucket. Do not rotate or move
forward or back.
3)
Each work procedure should be repeated a couple of times to warm up the machine
and improve its use.
