Switch the engine OFF and allow the engine to cool down for at least two minutes
before removing the fuel cap.
•
Remove the fuel cap. Fill with petrol to approx. 38 mm below the filling hole’s edge to
allow space for the expansion of the fuel. Be careful not overfill with fuel. Replace the
fuel cap securely before starting.
Start and stop
Start
•
Check the oil level.
•
Open the fuel cock.
•
Activate the choke.
•
Set the throttle to MAX. Operate the engine with the throttle in the MAX position.
•
Let the engine warm up. Move the throttle to RUN. Wait until the engine runs evenly
before adjusting the choke.
Stop
•
Set the throttle to MIN.
•
Move the throttle all the way to the left.
IMPORTANT
Do not stop the engine by setting the choke to CHOKE. This can lead to
kickback, fire or damage to the engine.
Comments

The engine has an unloaded speed of 3600 rpm and the clutch engages and begins to
turn the blade rotor at approx. 1200–1400 rpm.

The blade rotor has a speed of 2400 rpm +/- 200 rpm when the engine operates at full
speed.

Always use gloves and safety goggles when using the woodchipper.
−
If it is necessary to push material down into the chute use a log and never use hands
or anything made from metal.
−
Always keep hands at a safe distance from the woodchipper’s chute.
