Ensure that machine cannot fall or slide.
•
If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, switch off the engine and wait until all
moving parts have come to a complete standstill and investigate the cause. Vibrations
are generally a sign of a problem.
•
Switch off the engine when leaving the worksite and when carrying out repairs,
adjustments, maintenance or service. KEEP TO A SAFE DISTANCE FROM THE CHUTE AT
ALL TIMES.
•
Never leave an operating machine unattended. Always switch off the machine and
activate the emergency stop.
•
Before cleaning, carrying out repairs or inspecting the machine, switch off the engine
and check that the flywheel and all moving parts have come to a complete standstill.
Remove the spark plug cable and keep the cable at a distance from the spark plug to
avoid the unintentional starting of the engine.
•
The exhaust gases from the engine contain carbon monoxide which is a toxic gas that
has no odour or taste. Therefore, never allow the machine to operate in an enclosed
area.
•
Keep all guards and safety parts in place and in a good condition. Never use the
machine without the guards.
•
Never use the machine without having the feed chute attached.
•
The silencer and engine become hot and can cause serious burns. Do not touch them.
•
Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
Tragic accidents can occur if the operator does not exercise caution and pay attention
to the presence of young children.
Keep children at a safe distance from the work area and under supervision by a
responsible adult who is not the machine operator.
Exercise caution and pay attention and switch off the machine if a child approaches
the work area.
Never allow children to use the woodchipper.

Do not overload the machine and ensure that only branches no thicker than 10 cm are
fed into the feed chute. Otherwise personal injury or damage to the machine can
occur.
•
Never permit unauthorised persons near the machine when it is operating.
•
Use only accessories that are approved by the manufacturer. Read, understand and
follow all instructions that accompany the approved accessory.
•
Only use the machine in daylight. Never use the machine at night or in dark
surroundings where visibility is poor.
•
Exercise extreme caution when reversing the machine or when being pulled forward
towards the operator. NEVER move the machine while it is operating.
•
Never make modifications to the machine’s throttle valve. The throttle valve controls
the maximum operating speed and protects the engine. It is dangerous to operate the
