Insufficiently
charged battery.
Charge the battery. A new battery must be
charged for at least 12 hours before using it
for the first time, and subsequently for 6–8
hours after each time the machine has been
used.
Make sure the switch is switched on.
The battery is
worn out and
cannot be fully
charged any
longer.
Even a properly maintained rechargeable
battery does not last for ever. A battery will
last one or two years on average, depending
on use patterns and operating conditions.

The operating
conditions are too
harsh.
Drive only on firm, even, clean and dry
surfaces, such as paving slabs and asphalt.
The tyres are not
inflated to the
correct tyre
pressure.
The tyres are inflated from the factory, but
they will unavoidably loose a little pressure
from the time they leave the factory until they
are delivered. See the section on tyre inflation
on p. 6.
The motor is
overloaded.
Do not overload the motor by allowing more
than one person on the ATV at a time, and do
not exceed the weight limit, drive up or down
steep slopes or pull objects behind the ATV. If
the ATV is overloaded, the overheating fuse
will reduce the motor’s speed and, if the
overload situation continues, it will ultimately
stop the motor entirely. Rectify the operating
conditions causing the overload and wait 5–10
minutes before continuing to operate the ATV.
Avoid overloading the motor repeatedly.

Loose cables or
connections.
Check all cables and connections around the
motor – make sure they are tight.
Motor or electric
switch damaged.
Contact an authorised workshop for diagnosis
and repair.
The ATV does
not stop when
the brakes are
activated.
Brakes
