Repair and maintenance
Always switch off the machine before carrying out any type of maintenance operation.
Testing the brakes
Activate the brake by squeezing the brake handle to increase pressure on the brake.
The brake is equipped with a cable adjustment to compensate for the fact that the
cables can stretch over time and/or need fine adjustment of the brake handle’s free
travel.
If the brake is not properly activated, follow the instructions below for adjusting the
brakes.
Adjusting the brakes
To adjust the tightness, turn the brake adjustment inwards
or outwards – ¼–½ revolution – until the desired adjustment
is reached.
WARNING: Jamming of the brakes can cause the ATV to skid and throw off the
driver. Practice your braking technique in an open, obstacle-free area until you
are in complete control of the braking function. Avoid braking to a complete
stop, as this can cause you to lose control of the vehicle or damage the rear
tyres.
Battery maintenance
Do not store the battery at temperatures over 24
o
C or under -18
o
C
.
Disposal: Your product uses sealed lead batteries that must be recycled or disposed
of in an environmentally proper manner and pursuant to current local guidelines. Do
not dispose of a lead battery by burning it. This can cause the battery to explode or
leak. Do not dispose of a lead battery with your ordinary household waste.
Incineration, depositing in a landfill or mixing sealed lead batteries with household
waste are prohibited in most areas.
Charger
The charger supplied with ATV must be regularly inspected to detect any damage to
cable, socket, guard, etc. If damage is found, do not use the charger until it has been
repaired or replaced.
