Mounting the guard (Fig. 1)
•
Fit the riving knife (6) to the table (4)
using the screws (9).
•
Place the guard over the riving knife (6).
•
Fit the guard (5) to the riving knife.
Tighten the lock knob (10).
Warning!
Never cut tiles without
having the guard in place.
Mounting the cutting blade (Fig. 2)
Only use sharp and undamaged
cutting blade. Cracked or bent cutting
blade must be replaced immediately.
•
Place the inner flange (11), the
cutting blade (7) and the outer
flange (13) on the cutting blade
shaft. When fitting the cutting
blade (7), make sure that the
direction of rotation corresponds
to the arrow on the guard.
•
Locate the nut (14) and tighten it firmly.
•
Locate the housing (15). Tighten the screws (16).
•
In order to remove the cutting blade (7), proceed in reverse order.
Warning!
Before mounting or replacing the cutting blade (7) always
unplug the tool. Do not use cutting blade (7) with a thickness exceeding
the thickness of the riving knife. Make sure that the spindle diameter
corresponds to the bore diameter. Do not use an adapter to mount a
cutting blade (7) with a larger bore.
Mounting and adjusting the parallel fence (Fig. 3)
The parallel fence can be mounted
both to the left and to the right of
the cutting blade.
•
Loosen the knobs (17) a few turns.
•
Slide the parallel fence (8) onto
the table (4) as shown.
•
Set the parallel fence (8) to the
required distance. The setting
can be read from the scale (18).
•
Tighten the lock knobs (17).
