4.4.8 Port Mapping
Port Mapping supports multiple ports to PVC and bridging
groups. Each group serves as an independent network. To
support this feature, you must create mapping groups with
appropriate LAN and WAN interfaces using the
Add button.
The remove button removes the grouping and adds the
ungrouped interfaces to the default group. Only the default
group has IP interface.
Selecting the Enable virtual ports check box in Web UI Port
Mapping page creates three virtual interfaces within the Linux
system. Each virtual interface represents a physical Ethernet
port within the external Ethernet Switch. The WEB UI displays
four Ethernet ports: ENET1, ENET2, ENET3, and ENET4.
ENET1, ENET2, and ENET3 represent Ethernet port ID 0, 1
and 2 within the Ethernet Switch. ENET4 represents the
Ethernet MAC/PHY MDI port.
