4.5.4 Video backup copy
Description of function:
Used to create backup copies of NVR disc and send
video to U disc or hard drive.
Steps:
Insert U disc into NVR, press [detect]. Once the U disc has been detected,
press [backup copy]. Select channel to be saved, specify time period, select disc,
select file and press [start]. You will see a message that the backup copy has
been saved
(fig. 35).
4.5.5 Network settings
Description of function:
Network settings are the following: network card
settings, DHCP key, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS settings, HTTP
port, TCP port, P2P ID display, advanced settings.
[Network card]
At present it supports wired network cards only;
[DHCP activation]
After checking, the device gets IP function automatically (not
recommended); Note: the device must be connected to the router. To deactivate
the function, you are required to set IP information manually.
[IP address]
Set IP address of the device in the manual mode.
[Subnet mask]
Set subnet mask of the device in the manual mode.
[Gateway]
Set default gateway of the device in the manual mode.
[DNS settings]
The domain name recognition server is used to transform domain
name into IP address. The address is supplied by your network operator. Once
you have set the address, you have to reset the device.
